SoftAP mode (hidden deep) inside Atheros Client Utility 8.0 for Windows
With new version of ACU (8.0) you can turn your Atheros card into an Access Point again.
Even though feature is disabled by default:
But can enable it by creating a new DWORD type registry key named AllowAPMode with 1 value in \\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Atheros\ACU\Settings
After restarting Atheros Client Utility you will see that there is you can select APMode:
And a button for set Internet Connection Sharing for AP mode:
